When you combine our dynamic geo data based QR code with the humble drink coaster, you create a very powerful platform that is able to promote local businesses and services to people in your location , or near by.
Our dynamic database can create awareness to people over a set radius of where you want to promote your business to.
Before MapSee, 99% of businesses would only be able to just promote their website and business on drink coasters. We call this mono advertising and it never works for drink coasters.
However, if you cluster enough information so that a scanners interest is tickled by just scanning a QR code, then you start to see results.
For over the past 4 years loveps.au has been used by the Dolphin and Whale Watch Booking Agency, as their solution for promotional material. They no longer hand out leaflets, just custom designed coasters, directly to customers and via local pubs, clubs and holiday parks. All the information that a visitor needs, is contained on the website, which just requires a simple scan.
Our coasters come in boxes of 2,500 (10 X 250 cartons) and are compostable, which means they are capable of disintegrating into natural elements, in a compost environment, leaving no toxicity in the soil and this typically occurs within about 90 days. Below is the page you see when you scan outside the Dolphin and Whale Watch Booking Agency.
A snapshot of the random businesses appear, below the custom search buttons. The ones in black and white are closed at the time the QR code was scanned. Opening hour data comes from Google Maps.
A pop up appears for a business that we have verified on our backend and use the exact coordinates that Google maps give the business address. The coordinates are set on a short distance from the business's address, so a scan a few shops away, will not show the welcome message. It is set to only be shown once.
